Both drums measure 28” tall. These congas are outfitted with hand-selected buffalo skin heads for a classic sound. The response you get is full of dynamic warmth and depth along with sharp highs and an outstanding feel—the heads measure 11" and 12". Our 2 mm rounded rims complement each drum by sitting lower than traditional conga rims with a rounded edge for comfort and control. This design helps you avoid harsh or unwanted contact with the rim as you play with your hands. This conga set comes with a height adjustable tripod stand designed for quick setup. With double braced legs and a padded rest for your drums, this heavy-duty steel stand provides stability while keeping your stage footprint to a minimum. The drums attach easily with thumb bolts that you can tighten by hand. On the bottom of the shell is a protective circular base that lets you place the drum down on any surface without risk of damaging it while preserving its long-lasting resonance and rich tone. Get a consistent pitch that's long-lasting with our strong 8 mm tension rods and steel lugs. Included is a tuning wrench for pitch adjustments and quick head changes.
